Hachijuhachiya Picking Hachijuhachiya is exactly the 88th day (around May 2nd) counting from the beginning of spring. The tea picked on this day has the best taste and is prized as a lucky charm for eternal youth, longevity, and good health.
"Deep-steamed method" devised in the Makinohara plateau area In order to bring out the rich nutrition and deliciousness of the tea leaves grown thick with plenty of sunshine, the "deep-steamed method" steams to the core.
